Systemic Team Coaching with Constellations A practical introduction to the aims, principles and practices of this emerging discipline
20th–21st April 2020
Professional Coach Accreditation bodies predict an explosion of interest in team coaching over the next few years, as well as systemic team coaching approaches. At the same time, coaching practitioners are showing increased interest in the related but different discipline of systemic constellations work. Yet how do we integrate these two disciplines - of Systemic Team Coaching and Systemic Constellations? This 2-day, highly participative workshop, promises to provide an overview of the related disciplines, and addresses how they are compatible and how they might be integrated in practice.
Structure & Ethos
The workshop will position systemic team coaching and constellations work within the broader context of systemic Organisational Development practice. We will explore the theory, methods and practices of Constellations work as they apply to systemic team coaching. To ensure relevance and to make the learning approach as accessible and relevant as possible, the workshop will be structured around ‘live’ team coaching questions, case studies and issues brought by you as participants.
The teaching style will be highly participative and experiential, and will respond to the needs of the group as they arise. Within this exploratory ethos, core content will include:
- The contribution of systemic theory and practice to team coaching
- The aims, principles and element of Systemic Team Coaching with Constellations (STCC)
- The coach’s stance, presence and grounding
- The issues of constellating with ‘intact’ teams as opposed to anonymous representatives
- The 4 Liberating Disciplines and the 4 Applications of STCC
- ‘Riding the Rollercoaster’ - the coach’s journey and the team’s journey
- Working with one coach or with a team of coaches?
- Contracting to work with multiple teams over time
Please note that we make sensitive use of film as a support to your learning process, in all meus workshops.
